"Creation of common regional practices for psychosocial support of refugees and asylum seekers survivors or witnesses of GBV and other types violence"

Objectives: The project aims at capacity building of the professionals to identify cases of GBV among women and children, asylum seekers accommodated in the centers of the State agency for Refugees; it also aims at awareness raising on the problem of GBV and prevention of revictimiziation of women and children in the reception centers for refugees and asylum seekers by establishing a common set of services for the facilitation of the initial adaptation of the identified victims of gender based violence.

Activities:

1. The provision of social services and information for vulnerable women and children refugees and asylum seekers, including GBV survivors as well;
2. Strengthening the capacity of the local social service providers in Bulgaria to respond effectively to the needs arising in the area of prevention and protection through improving the quality of the delivered services for survivors of GBV.
